New Word Alive 2012
New Word Alive is a perennial highlight of the CU Calendar for all involved! It’s a great opportunity to take some time out to get to know each other better and hear from God’s word during the easter holidays – great teaching, uplifting music and time away to reflect make for an unmissable week in Prestatyn!

What happens?
New Word Alive is a healthy mix of teaching, singing, relaxing, socialising and having a massive amount of fun! Days generally start with a morning meeting where we work through a book of the Bible, sing and pray together. There’s then a wide range of optional ‘tracks’ – sets of talks working through a certain topic or book – it’s well worth following a few of these through the week for some really good teaching!
There’s also loads on though the week – sports tournaments, evening concerts and comedy acts, as well as pretty much full usage of the Pontins facilities, and of course a few places to sit down, and have a good old heart to heart over a hot drink (or a man-chat over a pint, if you prefer)!
We’ll be staying in 4-person apartments, and we provide our own food as a CU, so prepare to experience some culinary wonders, fellowship and a great laugh!
How do I book?
You don’t need to book!! At least, not on the NWA website – the CU already has 32 discounted student places booked – so when we’ve got everything sorted out we’ll let you know and you can buy a ticket from us!
Sounds great!
Good!! We’ll keep your posted as it all comes together – keep the week free and save a bit of money! Here’s a video which will telll you a bit more about what New Word Alive is about:
